For the month of May, my first grade students planted and raised sun
flower seedlings in our classroom. During our last visit to the
L.O.C.A.L. Garden, the students planted their seedlings and learned
further about the sunflower life cycle.

Thorne Head Field Trip!
Last week, we did our annual Thorne Head
field trip. The students had a great time exploring the pond and
learning about life cycles of pond plants and animals!
